Ever since singer Avril got pregnant, there have been several rumours surrounding the whereabouts of her baby daddy.
Born Avril Nyambura, the songbird gave birth in April this year and she has been occasionally linked to be dating J Blessing.
She gave birth successful and the talk doesn’t seem to end but thanks goodness, the Kenyan singer is receiving support from her secret lover after rumours suggested otherwise.
Speaking in an interview with a local TV station, Avril made it clear that she’s not a single mum, adding that she’s best friends with her baby daddy who has been super supportive when it comes to taking care of both her and the baby boy.
“I am not a single mom. The father of the child supports me and supports the child. Our friendship is very close, we had to make sure that we have a very strong friendship and a very strong relationship so that we can be able to raise our child, so that’s exactly where we are. He’s amazing, he is my best friend.”
With everyone asking who the lucky man could be, Avril however has remained tight-lipped. She says when the time is right she’ll share who the father of her baby is.
“If at any one point in time I’ll feel like talking about the father of my child I will but at this particular time I don’t think it’s necessary. But if J Blessing comes for an interview ask him that question.”
