It was jubilations and dancing galore at the Osun state secretariat as workers in the state paid a Thank-You visit to the state Governor Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola.
Gboyega recently approved the payment of the Thirty thousand naira (N30,000) minimum wage for workers of the state, a feat which many state in Nigeria are still battling to achieve.
Some of the workers were seen carrying placards with inscriptions such as: “Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, you are a promise keeper”, “Oyetola, labour friendly Governor”, “A new dawn to Osun State workers”.
The governor has also lifted the embargo on annual salary increment, promotion and conversion.
