A motorcyclist has been knocked to death at the Tema motorway roundabout by a tipper truck on Saturday morning.
The motorcyclist who uses his bike for commercial purposes (Okada) died instantly on the spot after the crash.
According to eyewitnesses at the scene near the Shell fuel station on the Tema-Steel works stretch on the Aflao highway, the accident happened about 7:15 am Saturday, 27th October 2018.
Both the tipper truck and Okada rider were negotiating a turn towards the Afienya road from Tema when the heavy truck rammed into the motorbike killing the rider instantly, eyewitnesses report.
The tipper truck has a registration number AS 7552 Z while the motorbike is with registration number M-15-GH 78.
