Gunshots were fired at the Paloma Hotel in Accra as music producer Bulldog allegedly attacked Dancehall artiste, Stonbwoy and his crew who were holding a mini concert at the hotel.
While chaos broke, reports hovering social media indicates that the younger brother of the musician who was at the concert is said to be injured and has filed a case of assault and theft against Bulldog born Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson at the Nima Police station.
Eyewitnesses say Bulldog’s men hit Stonebwoy’s brother, snatched his wallet containing an unspecified amount of money and attempted to seize Stonebwoy Mercedes Benz. Other reports we picked on Social media also reveal t the at, staff of Zylofon had gone to the champ bar led by Bulldog to take back a Benz car that was given to him and Stonebwoy who was reluctant to give them the keys to the car fired warning shots at them but no one was injured.
There have been rumours that Stonebwoy wants to leave Zylofon Music record label but the management of the label have been tight-lipped about the rumours and have denied the speculations in the media.
According to the Communication Director at Zylofon Media, Sammy Baah-Flex, “all is well” but after Zylofon Media’s branding materials were taken off stage before Stonebwoy’s performance at the University of Ghana’s Dr Hilla Limann Hall’s ‘Artiste Night’ concert aimed to climax their Hall Week celebration on Saturday, we believe, Sammy Flex lied to us. All is not well. Stonebwoy has issues with Zylofon Music and it could be because Shatta Wale was recently signed to the label as well.
The student leadership of the hall referred to as the Junior Common Room (JCR) had collaborated with Zylofon Media to organize the ‘Artiste Night’ which had been dubbed ‘Zylofon Cash Invasion’ and sources close to the organizer reveal that Stonebwoy’s manager requested the team to take off all the Zylofon branding material before his artiste rocks the stage.
