Ghanaian musician and dancehall star, Shatta Wale, has paid a courtesy call on the Deputy Ambassador of the Embassy of Italy in Ghana at the Embassy of Italy in Accra.
Italy and Ghana maintain excellent bilateral relations, consolidated by recent political missions at the highest levels and the top musician of Ghanaian descent is poised to further grow his craft through its possibilities.
Shatta Wale and and his team on Monday 13th August 2018 visited H.E Lorenzo Pinelli as part of measures to engage with the relevant stakeholders to drive his youth empowerment initiative which he began some years ago. This time, he seeks to partner with the Italian embassy for further gross effect.
Addressing issues affecting both countries while working ton programmes to help strengthen and build the Ghanaian creative arts industry were topmost discussions during their session. Shatta Wale also took the opportunity to get an insight into the operations of the embassy as well as discussed possible areas of partnership with the embassy.

He further highlighted his planned youth empowerment project aimed at building the capability of the youth to make them self-sufficient. Wale also took the opportunity to present his Reign album to the Ambassador.
H.E Mr Pinelli also expressed his appreciation to Shatta Wale and his team for the visit and indicated the readiness of the embassy to collaborate with the dancehall star Shatta Wale at all times to pursue any project of mutual interest.
