Citi FM’s Jessica Opare Saforo loses mumThe Programmes Manager and host of Traffic Avenue on Citi 97.3 FM, Jessica Opare Saforo, has lost her mother, Felicia Opare Saforo.

Jessica confirmed to Citi Showbiz that the sad incident occurred at the 37 Military Hospital on 12th February, 2018.

Earlier, she had announced the death of her mother on her Facebook page: “Mom! Thank you for all your sacrifices. You left me today but I know you are in a better place! I’ll always love you.”

The retired teacher and founder of Bridge of Hope Preparatory School in Adenta, lost the battle to cancer.

Felicia, who celebrated her 70th birthday on 27th January, 2018 left behind 4 children.

Jessica has always expressed her fondness for her mother and the great inspiration she had gained from her over the years.

In an Instagram post she put up during her mum’s birthday, she thanked her for deepening her trust in God.

“You make me want to truly and fully surrender all my burdens unto this God you’ve encouraged me to know. You tell me that nothing can prevent you from seeking Him and believing in His world,” she noted.

She also wished her mother good health: “I pray for healing in your body. I pray for strength to go on. I love you mum. This message is from the depths of my soul. May God grant you many more years. May God’s will be done in your life.”

Jessica Opare Saforo is a radio and television personality, events MC and the C.E.O of The Voice Ova Company, a voice talent agency and media production house.
