The iconic power couple, Beyonce’s family is on another lavish trip following Ghana’s successful Year of Return initiative this year.
Power couple Beyonce , and Jay Z , made a rare joint appearance over the weekend at Kotokat International Airport Saturday morning.
The couple are back to their mysteriously private ways and looked straight-faced as they dashed into their rides whiles looking forward to join Beyonce’s mum Tina Knowles and her husband Richard Lawson for a private party around the Essence Full Circle Festival in Accra.
Beyoncé and Jay Z have finally arrived in Ghana as rumoured for a quick holiday treat as part of the Year of Return activities in Ghana.
Whiles their visit to Ghana will continue to remain private, the power couple and most admire music family of all time will be present at the Essence Full Circle Festival, the very reason they traveled to Ghana.
Beyoncé’s mom Tina Knowles and Mr Knowles alongside actor Boris Kodjoe arrived yesterday ahead of the big event.
Many have speculated that the “Queen of the Decade” will be seen on some stages in Ghana while visiting but this according her publicist is false.
Yvette Noel-Schure, quickly put the rumours to rest in a post on Instagram on Friday saying “This is not true. Beyoncé is not performing in Ghana this weekend,” she wrote in response to a post that was claiming that Queen Bey was on the ground and ready to perform.
“Just here to deliver the truth. The official truth and nothing but the truth. Beyoncé is NOT performing in Accra, Ghana this weekend,” Noel-Schure captioned the post.
The rumors were beginning to pick sauce when NetbuzzAfrica.com announced that Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles-Lawson has arrived and spotted at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra.
Beyoncé is currently in Ghana with Jay Z and Blue Ivy.
Hundreds of people have tripped Ghana’s capital, Accra for several events surrounding the Year of Return. Some of these personalities include the likes of Ludacris, Jidenna, Boris Kodjoe, and Bozoma Saint John.
Despite the disappointing news that Beyoncé will not mount any stage in Ghana, Noel-Schure, Beyonce’s publicist ended her message with a note to those in Ghana to “have the most beautiful time.”
The Hollywood power couple have been married for over a decade and share children Blue Ivy, Rumi and Sir, however they are rarely all seen publicly together.
