Zylofon Media recently signed Ghana’s most controversial dancehall act Shatta Wale and the label seems to be inviting chaos already.

The untold stories that keep unfolding from the label, with added spices of Shatta Wale’s controversies which keeps rolling out on social media daily may be a burden for the gentle dancehall act Stonebwoy who now has a loud mouth as a label mate.

Has the signing of Shatta Wale brought good news to the label or very soon ambassadors signed to the brand may have to part ways with the media firm due to one person’s unnecessary rants all in the name of showbiz?

Bjrlivefm.com chanced on an audio interview where BET award winner Stonebwoy revealed he had no knowledge his label managers were going to sign Shatta Wale, his most tagged competitor in the dancehall sector.

According to Stonebwoy, Zylofon Media knew best what will help them maximize their returns on investment hence if they chose to employ his fellow competitor, it changes no narrative but he had no formal brief. Does Stonebwoy feel disrespected here or he’s just allowing Shatta Wale’s intimidation to get under his skin?

Many have accused Stonebwoy of being self-centred and not promoting the agendums of Zylofon Media but the multiple award-winning artist has hinted that it may not necessarily be stated in his contract with the label to promote them.
