Sarkodie and Stonebwoy have been invited to represent Ghana at the London edition of the One Africa Music Fest.
The two celebrated Ghanaian artistes will perform with other award-winning artistes from Nigeria, Uganda and South Africa.
They are expected to surprise music fans in London with magnificent and electrifying performances. They are also expected to use the event to promote Ghanaian music.
The event will be held at The SSE Arena, Wembley London’s most iconic concert and events venue, with state-of-the-art facilities on Saturday, June 2, 2018.
According to the organisers, One Africa Music Fest is Africa’s leading platform in showcasing the best and brightest musical talents in the continent, with the sole aim of solidifying Africa’s position within the entertainment industry on a global level.
Over the years, the concert has witnessed sterling performances from Wizkid, Davido, Tekno, Jidenna, P-Square, Tiwa Savage, Olamide, Cassper Nyovest, Alikiba, Flavour N’abania, Phyno, M.I, Efya, 9ice, Awilo Longomba, Falz, Victoria Kimani, among others.
In November 2017, the founder of the event apologised to Sarkodie for his inability to perform at its Dubai edition.
In a message posted on Instagram Wednesday, Paul O, owner of organising body, Upfront & Personal, wrote that he and his team “regret” that they missed out on Sarkodie’s performance because of “management miscommunication.”
The event is powered by Upfront & Personal Global Management Consultants.
