Highlife musician who doubles as an evangelist Nana Kwame Ampadu has advised young men and women to be genuine when dealing with their loved ones since true love has the tendency to heal sicknesses.
Narrating the story behind his famous Agatha song, he revealed that the song was a true love story he shared with a woman he loved so much that words were not enough to describe the depth of love he had for her.
According to the legendary Ghanaian highlife musician, their relationship was just like that of Romeo and Juliet, adding that even though he loves his current wife, she doesn’t come close to what he shared with Agatha.
Nana Kwame Ampadu further disclosed that his new song will blow Ghanaians away simply because it features one of the greatest musicians in Ghana.
In an interview with Kofi TV, he revealed that there are many rappers in Ghana, but Sakordie stands tall among all his peers. According to Nana Ampadu, he personally clapped for Sarkodie the very day he witnessed his studio session.
“I settled on Sarkodie for a collaboration due to his outstanding performance and influence within the music circles,” he said.
Sarkodie’s level of intelligence when it comes to rap music beats his imagination and he witnessed that the very first day they had their studio session.
“The moment he stepped into the studio, I told him I have left some vacuum in the song for him to fill with his own lyrics. To my surprise, after listening to the song in minutes interval he was able to deliver on it and I enjoyed it with accompanying clap by myself”, Nana Ampadu said in an interview.
The veteran musician in his conversation added that he recorded two songs with Ghana’s greatest contemporary artiste Sarkodie but because of some sickness, releasing them delayed. Watch out for the records in the coming days.
