A dirty verbal tug of war has started between popular musician Mzbel and comedienne Afia Schwarzenegger on social media which has left many wondering why a certain Ghanaian flagbearer’s name is being dragged into the fray.
Detractors of the former president of Ghana, who is leading the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2020 general election, are cynically claiming that he is the reason the showbiz women in Ghana are fighting.
On October 2, NetbuzzAfrica.com chanced on an interview granted by Afia Schwarzenegger who alleged that Mzbel was blackmailing a flagbearer of a political party after sleeping with her boyfriend. Afia Schwarzenegger continued that Mzbel once begged her to sleep with Kofi Amoabeng, the former boss of defunct UT Bank and further challenged Mzbel to invoke a deity to prove her innocence.
The former best friends are back on social media, specifically Facebook and Instagram, with their drama to entertain social media users once again as Mzbel has been pricked by Afia Schwarzenegger’s latest interview on Neat FM, October 2 and subsequent comments on social media.
“I left my boyfriend and friend at home when I came they disappeared…Babes, I had sex with your friend and she wanted me to keep a relationship with her but I was scared of you so she told me she was going to blackmail me,” Afia Schwarzenegger told Ola Michael, the host of the show.
Afia Schwarzenegger who didn’t mince word in her social media rants has also labelled Mzbel as a “rape ambassador”, a “blackmailer”, and a prostitute.
The “16 years” hitmaker Mzbel was yet to respond to the allegations but Afia Schwarzenegger, in the late hours of Sunday, October 4, 2020 dared her to respond, and she (Afia) would come public with more “dirty secrets” and that has finally led the singer to confidently said ‘Fi’ – admonishing Afia to do her worst.
