Gospel recording artist Joe Mettle has headlined the 2018 edition of Côte d’Ivoire’s Gospel Impact Festival held in Abidjan.
The two-day event which was held at the Palais de la Culture and the University Stadium, Codoy, on May 4 and May 5 respectively, brought together music lovers from across Africa to celebrate the goodness of God.
Patrons enjoyed thrilling performances from Joe Mettle and other headliners including Georgina Guede (from Côte d’Ivoire) and Moise Mbiye (from DR Congo).
The excited audience worshipped and sang joyfully to praise God.
“The experience here has been a great blessing. My team and I are grateful for the love shown us here and we give God all the praise for this encounter; we cannot wait to come back,” Joe Mettle told Ivorian media after the event.
Joe Mettle was recently crowned the ‘Gospel Artiste of the Year’ at the 2018 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
He also took home the ‘Gospel Song of the Year’ award with ‘Bo Noo Ni,’ as well as the ‘Best Male Vocalist of the Year.’
He is currently preparing to host the 2018 edition of his annual Praiz Reloaded concert in Accra, Ghana.
This year’s event is dubbed ‘Atmosphere of Miracles’ and will take place on Sunday, June 24, at the Action Chapel International, Spintex.
