Actress Khareema Aguiar is said to be on the run after borrowing huge cash from her London-based friend.
The Ghanaian actress is said to have borrowed a total of about 50,000 GHS from a London-based private business woman back in 2016—but she’s currently nowhere to be found after she was served by a Ghanaian High Court in Accra.
The CEO of Khareema Aguiar Foundation for the Aged [KAFA] in 2018 supported ailing veteran actor Psalm Adjetefio popularly known as T.T who was then battling a heart condition at his residence in Accra.
She made a huge donation to pay for his health bills among others hence this news of borrowing comes as a shock to many of her fans.
The private woman whose monies Khareema Aguair is yet to pay back is said to have revealed in a chat that when it was time for the actress to pay back the monies which she borrowed on the back of stories such as paying hospital bills of her child, she turned into a prolific storyteller— and soon, it became a cat and mouse enterprise—to the extent that the friend had to sue Khareema Aguiar in court, and presented her evidence to the court.
According to sources, the actress Khareema Aguiar, fled to Canada where she has other business when the lawsuit was filed in Ghana.
The notice of the claim was plastered on the wall of her house, and eventually, summary judgement of about 71,000 GHS (the amount borrowed plus interest) was issued against her by the Accra High Court in April 2019.
