Christiane Amanpour can be pretty tough to pin down reports across the world. With powerful interviews from war zones and the sites of natural disasters to political views and nearly talking to every respected celebrity you can possibly imagine, the award-winning journalist has once again walked the shores of Ghana with budding actress Moesha.
Speaking to Ghanaian actress and socialite Moesha Boduong in an interview on CNN’s Amanpour show, Mo has revealed that the economic necessity is what drives some women to date men who can support them — even if they’re married.
As a single woman in Accra, Moesha tells Christiane Amanpour “Ghana our economy is such that you just need someone to take care of you because you can’t make enough money as a woman here.”

“When you want to get an apartment, in Ghana you pay two years in advance and I just started working, where will I get the money,” she continued.
CNN featured Moesha Boduong on an episode of ‘Sex & Love Around the World’ where Christiane Amanpour talked with her on the topic “When being a mistress is a financial decision”.
In the interview, Moesha added that in exchange for the money she receives from her lover/benefactor, she is expected to stay loyal to him and yield to his sexual desires whenever he demands.
“He expects me to be loyal and just to date him only and give him sex when he wants. You can’t say no. You have to give him what he wants otherwise he is going to think you are cheating on him, ” she revealed.
Meanwhile, in an earlier interview with Showbiz, Moesha who has been showing her ‘chilaxing’ in France, Turkey, Dubai, India, Amsterdam, Nigeria, Mauritius and South Africa managed to answer questions about how she funds her globetrotting spree.
She revealed that she doesn’t sleep with men for money although her boyfriend pays for everything.
“I don’t sleep around to make money for the kind of life I’m living, why would I sleep around and for what? It is not true. I love to see the world and I will not wait to have everything going smoothly before I take a break to see the world.
