Being submissive in the bedroom doesn’t mean being a doormat in life. Some women love sub sex but are mostly seen as feminist in the public domain. In Ghana, they call themselves “Pepper Dem” ladies.
The very point of equality is acknowledging that women can have the same desires as men. And the fact that so many women hold positions of power these days makes it more likely that some of them will get off on the act of occasionally handing over that power in the most intimate ways imaginable.
Vim Lady, born Afia Pokua, the News Editor of Adom FM, a subsidiary of the Multimedia Group has waded into the feminist controversy as raised by Grace Omaboe (Maame Dokono) days back. The conversation as to whether or not it is the duty of the woman to constantly cook for the husband has been the topic on many feminist’s lips.
“My name is Vim lady Afia Pokua, Convenor of SUGARDEM GH.I want to assure the men that we shall cook for you, wash for you, massage you, feed you and “bed you”; all we ask is you SUGAR US TOO. we will even lick for you.
We are ready to battle anyone or group that wants to pepper you.
We were born to support you, not to compete for power.
Our joy is to see you happy and successful so that you will support us too.
OSEYYY SUGARDEM
OSEYYYY SUGAR US ALL!!!!
GOD BLESS OUR MEN”
This response is perhaps understandable on the surface, but it misses the point. Marriage kinks do not (usually) translate from the bedroom to the outside world, let alone to the boardroom. Who cooks more? The man or the woman? This debate is yet to end.
