CEO of failing Gold Dealership Company Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah popularly known as Nam1 has been arrested in Dubai.
His arrest comes after a warrant was issues for his arrest earlier this week after series of protests by some aggrieved Menzgold customers.
According to sources, a gold dealer who alleges that Nam1 has duped him made a complaint for the arrest of the fugitive boss in Dubai.
The government of Ghana had exerted huge pressure on the law-enforcement agencies and financial regulators to bring the failed company boss to book.
The Economic and Organised Crimes Organisation (EOCO) had been investigating Appiah Mensah before he jumped bail conditions set by the Bureau of National Investigations.
Meanwhile, EOCO has confirmed that it has established contact with the detainee in Dubai.
