Ghana’s top actresses, Yvonne Okoro and Lydia Forson have rejected movie roles because of rising socialite cum actress Rosemond Brown.
According to news submitted to netbuzzafrica.com, Yvonne Okoro and Lydia Forson had initially accepted the scripts to act in the movie titled “Away Bus”, however, upon discovering that Rosemond Brown popularly known as Akuapem Poloo was part of the cast, decided to opt-out.
The producer of the movie, Kofi Asamoah, is said to have hidden Brown’s identity for a while, but later, he disclosed it to the team and that didn’t go well with Ms. Forson and Okoro.
Lydia Forson is quoted to have said that her brand was too sophisticated to act with the likes of Brown, Thosecalledcelebs reveals on Instagram.
Meanwhile, Yvonne Okoro is yet to state her reasons, but she was reported to have screamed “hell no!”, and backed off during their last meeting.
