Ghanaian Award winning highlife artist, Ronald Kwaku Dei Appiah popularly known as Bisa Kdei has rubbished reports circulating on social media that he sacrificed his mother for money and fame in the entertainment industry.
Speaking to Ohemaa Woyeje on Adom FM’s ‘Work and Happiness’, the ‘Mansa’ hit maker disclosed the rumours affected him severely since he is a believer and such barbaric gestures can’t be accorded to him.
“I can never do that. People say I killed my mom and I used her for rituals. How much money do I want that I will use someone’s life to get fame? Those things are difficult to bear…,” he exclaimed.
The hi-life composer further hinted that his days of being emotional to negative headlines are over hence the need to adapt ‘deaf ears’ to such stories as a celebrity.
“When I started I was very emotional. But I sat down, analyzed and became stronger. People talk anyhow and get over it in a shorter time. Things don’t get to me anymore. If I know you, I will call you and ask you questions.
“Paying attention to every story can greatly affect your work or render you paralyzed…” the musician advised other artists in the industry.
According to Bisa Kdei, God has been the ultimate reason for his success in the Ghanaian Music Industry.
The ‘brother brother’ hit maker revealed hard work as one of the top keys to attaining higher heights; hard work he claimed paved the way for his achievements.
“It is God. If God doesn’t back or support you, there is no way you will succeed. The Second thing is hard work. Hard work made me the Bisa Kdei I am…,” he said.
The successful songwriter further disclosed his third album dubbed ‘Connect’ will be out soon and urged fans to stay tuned.
“My fans claimed I should stick to the hi-life so I am bringing the ‘Connect’ album out soon for them to enjoy…”
