New Patriotic Party’s Hopeson Adorye has confirmed rumours surrounding his marriage to Ghanaian gospel musician Gifty Osei.
Mr. Hopeson Yaovi Adorye, the deputy national security coordinator in charge of Airports officially announced on his Facebook page that he has engaged Gifty Osei.
Gospel musicians are well known for marrying pastors and the renowned gospel singer Gifty is not an exception but she has decided to do something different this time after a bitter experience from her previous pastor husband. She was married to Prophet Prince Elisha Osei of Blessed Generation Ministry International and divorced after 10 years.
Her marriage to Prophet Elisha officially ended four good years ago but was confirmed just last year.
Mr. Hopeson Adorye, lost his wife in March 2017 after battling with cancer.
Although Gifty Osei had earlier denied rumours about marrying Mr. Hopeson, she finally thanked God for the goodness in a brief post on social media indicating her acceptance. “My “Hopes” is in u Christ Jesus. Thank you Lord!!!”, her post read. Perhaps this is the right time to come out with the good news.
Friends and family, as well as fans have since congratulated them on their engagement while anticipating their wedding.
