Ghanaian Entertainer Funny Face has blamed the Police in Kasoa for utilizing extreme power to capture him on Monday.
In a sorrowful, profane rant on social media, the entertainer who was captured for the unlawful release of a gun at a drinking bar said he was captured on a thruway around Millenium City.
Born Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, Funny Face likewise affirmed that he was beaten seriously by the Police before his capture and later abused while in Police care.
He said he stayed in bed prison from Monday (February 8, 2021) to 3 pm on Tuesday (February 9, 2021) till he was bailed.
“I snoozed prison among Monday and Tuesday. Presently, I’m an ex-convict,” he said. “Be that as it may, the most excruciating and saddest truth I’m going to uncover is about Ghana police,” Funny Face said in a video shared on Twitter.
“I was captured on an expressway at the Millennium City. I planned to get some medication since I had run out of my drug. It’s not been simple for me.
“Prepare to have your mind blown. The second I got down [from my car] the police vehicle crossed me and began beating me. They hit me with their bind. What did I foul-up? I have not annoyed anybody. What sin have I submitted? I’m simply working for my youngsters. I have submitted no transgression.
“Ghana police abused me; hauled me on the floor, slapped me on numerous occasions, and hit my stomach with their firearms. This is police mercilessness. Your moms, Ghana police. God favors great police officers and ladies. A country that executes its legends and commends them when they are gone,” he finished up.
The entertainer later shared a novice video of his capture which was recorded by an observer.
