Chris Attoh, the Ghanaian actor and broadcaster has married his longtime American sweetheart Bettie Jenifer, a Caribbean who is based in Washington, USA.
The private event was attended by a handful of family and friends of Chris and his love in the capital, Accra.
Not much is known about the actor’s new wife but sources say, Bettie played a major role in Chris and Damilola divorce some ten months ago.
Chris’ ex-wife Damilola who refused to unveil the true details of their marriage granted an interview to the Punch in Nigeria some days ago suggesting that Chris is not a real man. A statement that has been taken lightly. According to her, she was ready to marry again but this time, she needs a real man.
“This time, I will be looking out for a man; he has to be a man (in the real sense of the word). I don’t try to foresee things as I prefer to live in the moment. I learnt a lot from my past experience (in marriage) and I may have to write a book about it.”
Meanwhile, sources close to the actress say Chris depended heavily on Bettie for everything even when he was married to Damilola Adegbite.
“There are quite a lot of things and I wouldn’t want to single out one. If I single it out, it may seem like the most important one when it’s not so; they are all very important.” Damilola noted in her Punch interview.
