The A-list have been serving up their best looks in the sunny South of France for the annual Cannes Film Festival and this year Africa didn’t miss out as well.
Attending endless photocalls, parties and, of course, premieres, the red carpet is permanently rolled out and ready for the celebrities to show off their best haute couture looks.
Although many opt for full-on glitz and glamour in fairytale gowns, others choose to put on a show-stopping display by showing off a little more skin.
Ghana met Nigeria at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival as we’re completely happy to see their most risqué red carpet looks from their experience at Cannes Film Festival 2018.
Movie stars from Ghana spotted at the Grande Theatre Lumiere for the premiere of “Zimna Wojna” directed by Polish filmmaker Pawel Pawlikowski include Bibi Bright, James Gardiner, Benedicta Gaffah and Zynnel Zuh.
Nigeria’s Desmond Elliott and Kunle Afolayan of Golden Effects Pictures were also present at the Film Festival to have fun while unveiling a magazine titled “Cinema in Lagos.” The African tales collection detailing Lagos was unvieled at the Lagos Pavillon in Cannes Film Festival, France.
The magazine was unveiled by the Lagos State delegates which includes Hon Desmond Elliot, Mr Fola Adeyemi, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture and Mr Kunle Afolayan. The team were supported by the Deputy Defence Attache, French Embassy in Nigeria, Yan Kretzer.
Also in the mix of celebration in Cannes, was Haitian heartthrob, Jimmy Jean-Louis, whose new show, ‘CLAWS’ premieres June 10 on TNT.
