Ace music producer, Appiah Dankwah better known as Appietus has jumped to the defense of musicians terming as untrue the rhetoric that they are ungrateful.
According to the famous sound engineer, he wouldn’t say musicians are ungrateful but rather urged artiste managers to sign a contract with their client.
Adding that, if a musician knows he or she will be dealt with in court over breach of contract, and has to bear the related consequence thereof, they will sit up. But if you work with a musician and you don’t sign any contract with them then you have no one to blame but yourself.
The veteran music producer made this assertion while speaking on the Red Carpet show on Joy Prime TV.
“I don’t think musicians are ungrateful they are just smart people, and you also have to be smart as a manager or you will be the one who losses in the long run”
“I think it’s simple, artiste managers should just sign a contract with their client, with that, they know going contrary to the contract comes with a cost” he said.
