Full list of winners at 20th Vodafone Ghana Music AwardsCharterhouse Ghana, organisers of the 20th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) has once again held a successful awards ceremony at the new Dome close to the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).

The Ghana Music Awards is an award scheme designed to recognize, celebrate the hard work and dedication of various stakeholders and players in the entertainment industry.

Sponsored by telecom giant Vodafone, the festival witnessed a lot of hiccups with two of Ghana’s top acts clashing for the Reggae/Dancehall artiste of the year which led to an abrupt halt of the show for more than 30 minutes.

UK based Ghanaian award-winning gospel singer, Diana Antwi Hamilton’s song ‘Mo Ne Yo’ won the Gospel Song of the year. She also won the Gospel artiste of the year beating competitors in her category.

Kuami Eugene took home the Album of the year, while the New Artiste of the year trophy went to Wendy Shay. Ghana’s most decorated rapper Sarkodie was crowned Artiste of the Decade. The Artiste of the Year and Most Popular award was postponed by the organisers till further notice.
