Burna Boy, Nadia Nakai & Stonebwoy bag top awards at All Africa Music Awards #AFRIMA2019

Burna Boy, Stonebwoy, Others win at All Africa Music Awards #AFRIMA2019Africa seems to be closing the year with several celebrations in music, fashion and travel and for Ghana, the Year of Return activities will climax the celebration for the West African country.

Burna Boy continues to break boundaries in music, from winning a trophy at the BETs to his Grammy nominations and now bagging the Best Male Artiste in Western Africa Award at the 2019 AFRIMA!

The 6th AFRIMA Legendary awards were announced on Saturday, November 23, at the Eko Convention Centre of Eko Hotels and Suites in Lagos, Nigeria. An event to recognise individuals who have impacted positively to the world using their craft in the music, arts and culture industry.

While Southern Africa Star Nadia Nakai took home the region’s topmost award, Ghana’s Stonebwoy, has for the third time, won the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) nod for Best Artist, Duo or Group in African Reggae, Ragga or Dancehall.  

This years’ Legendary awards recipients are international Congolese music veteran, Awilo Longomba; and Nigerian music star, 2Baba. See the full list of winners below:
