When it comes to celebrations on the continent, Africa, we’ve barely seen women cheering for each other but this year, Ghanaian female influencers are taking things a bit personal and acting right.
At least, that’s what feminism has been all about anyway!
Top political and entertainment influencers have joined their colleague musician MzVee to celebrate her birthday in grand style at a location in Accra.
Born Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda, better known by her stage name MzVee, is a Ghanaian singer, Afropop, dancehall and R&B artiste who turned 27 on June 23 this year.
In photos sighted by NetbuzzAfrica.com, singers Becca, Efya and Feli Nuna joined politicians from both the New Patriotic Party (NPP)and National Democratic Congress (NDC) to celebrate MzVee.
Budding talent and young rapper Freda Rhymz was also spotted celebrating with MzVee on her special day.
These action by these influencers have warmed the hearts of many social media users giving them hope that there’s still unity among the female fighters in the country.
The ‘Natural Girl’ hitmaker, Mzvee, released photos from the birthday with simple captions full of gratitude to her followers and well wishers. One of such posts reads: “Thank you so much @zanetorofficial for such inspirational words at my birthday dinner. Love you!.”
