The saga unfolded when Dr. Amina took to social media to disclose confidential details about Kuami Eugene’s health following the musician’s hospitalization after an unfortunate accident on Sunday, March 17, 2024.
In response to the incident, Dr. Haarun posted a health update on social media, indicating that the condition of the ‘Monica’ hitmaker was precarious. She urged the public to offer prayers for the artist.
However, Dr. Haarun later issued a press statement via social media, expressing remorse for breaching the code of ethics. She acknowledged that her actions had caused inconvenience and had adversely affected her team’s performance.
Taking accountability for her actions, she emphasized her understanding of the gravity of the situation. She pledged not to repeat such mistakes in the future and expressed her commitment to rectifying the issue promptly.
Dr. Haarun disclosed that she would accept the consequences, including a three-month suspension of her medical license, and pledged to comply with the penalty by refraining from any hospital facility unless summoned.
