Prince Bright, the Ghanaian hiplife artist who was featured in Sarkodie’s “Ofeestso” record has responded to reasons why he didn’t make appearance in the rapper’s music video.
Prince, one half of defunct group Buk Bak has tried several attempts to enlist his music in the West African music space in the last two years and he still has more to offer considering the record breaking single he was featured on.
Speaking in an interview, the singer revealed that his absence in the video was due to the fact that he was out of the country, Ghana.
Prince Bright currently lives in the US and this will likely affect his business in the West African country.

“I’m based in New York so when Sarkodie called me for the music video, I wasn’t available,” he said.
“He later came up with the current concept for the music video which I thought was brilliant and also a perfect fit considering he just wrapped his music festival at Tema, so I agreed to it.”
Interestingly, Prince Bright added that the song was in no way throwing jabs at dancehall artist Shatta Wale.
“The song was recorded months before Sarkodie and Shatta Wale’s banter and in no way jabbing him,” He added.
Prince Bright was speaking on Pure FM’s Hammer Time Entertainment show hosted by Hammer.
