E.L – Thinkin (Official Video)

E.L - Thinkin (Official Video)We finally get to see the visuals for E.L’s song, ‘Thinkin’, a piece off his well received BVR mixtape.

‘Thinkin’ carries a striking trap bounce and has E.L singing mostly on the track. Just like the title suggest, ‘Thinkin’ reflect the musings of a girl who has had enough of her man’s ‘trashy’ ways; and is considering packing out of it. ”I heard you nu nu with your bae, ay, ay/now you party every weekend/popping bottles with your new friends”, he sings in his rasping voice.

The gulf between the two lovers appears distant as the ”switching on me/’you’ve been distant” lyric reveal. To keep herself occupied, she resort to drinking and hanging out with her friends- a situation which is far from what it was previously.

Directed by Lex MacCarthy, the visual sees E.L in a lively mood and topless throughout the video with happy girls all around. He gradually woos his way to the said lady’s heart while he flexes his abs.

BVR is not for mainstream artists - E.LFew hours after rapper E.L released the 5th edition of his signature mixtape, “BVR” mixtape, is leading the Chart on Ghana iTunes.

The ‘BVR’ mixtape was released on Sunday October 28, 2018, and it’s currently ranked no.1 ahead of Jacqueline du Pré’s ”Dvorak: Cello Concerto in B Minor” and J. Cole’s ”KOD” who are at no.2 and no.3 respectively.

Born Elom Adablah, rapper E.L, who’s currently planning a trip to Europe maintains the Bar series is definitely not a collection targeted at mainstream artists. For four consecutive times, the BAR concerts continue to play a major role in supporting and unearthing the underground rappers and BVR will be no different says the rapper.

”If you appreciate real authentic music, whether Rap, Trap, Hip-Hop, RnB, then you’re basically going to appreciate the BVR. The BVR is not for mainstream artists. I’m usually the sole mainstream artist on the mixtape and it’s a platform for upcoming artists who have worked hard during the year and deserve a spot”, E.L. expressed.

”When I was an upcoming artist, someone gave me a platform to showcase my skills and the BVR project is my way of doing the same thing for upcoming artists. I’d also want to thank everyone who’s been holding it down since day one and all the Hip-Hop lovers, so get ready for a great experience”, he adds.

The ”BVR” mixtape by E.L is released under the rapper’s imprint V.O. Nation Records and is available on all digital stores worldwide including iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Aftown and SoundCloud.
