Stonebwoy, MzVee denies having any sexual relationship

Stonebwoy, MzVee denies having any sexual relationship VGMA nominated songstress, MzVee, has debunked assertions in the public domain that she once dated Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy.

She has described her relationship with Stonebwoy as ‘friendly’ hence she could not fathom why some people will think so.

Asked if they had a crush on each other, the musician said “there was no truth in that; there was nothing going on.”

According to MzVee, the only reason such perceptions are in the public is that people must actually have them [perceptions].

She told Hitz FM’s Andy Dosty that “I think Ghanaians get happy and excited when they see two of their stars like that; they have their own idea when they see us. We were never together.”

Meanwhile, Afro Pop, Dancehall and Reggae artiste, Stonebwoy has also denied rumours that he is in a relationship with his fellow dancehall artiste MzVee in a separate interview.

He said he and the lovely musician are just able to bring their creativity to bear when they team up for a project and that their relationship is purely business.

“There is good chemistry between me and MzVee when it comes to music,” Stonebwoy said.

Stonebwoy added that people loved the synergy between him and MzVee when they collaborated on her hit single “natural girl” and that was informing the assumption that something more was happening between them.

Both artistes have been nominated for the Reggae/ Dancehall Artiste of the Year at the just-released nominations list of the 19th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
