Give Anas “accolades” for risking his life – Blakk Rasta to Kennedy Agyapong

Give Anas "accolades" for risking his life - Blakk Rasta to Kennedy AgypepongRadio personality and reggae artist Blakk Rasta has criticized attempts by the Assin Central MP Hon. Kennedy Agyapong who has vowed to expose Anas Aremeyaw Anas for trying to bring to light the corruption in the country, especially the premiere of his Number 12 investigative piece scheduled for release in the coming days.

Abubakar Ahmed best known as Blakk Rasta believes one of Africa’s best investigative journalists Anas deserve some accolades and not attempts to strip him naked as he (Anas) has risked his life in unraveling corruption in the country.

Anas is an asset to the country Ghana  and Africa in general and should be protected at all levels, he said on his show. Adding that “All I can see is a lot of respect for a young man who has laid is life…in some cases he got arrested, in some cases he swallowed dangerous chemicals in order to look authentic and investigations.”

“Whether they are the true photographs of Anas Aremeyaw Anas or not, I won’t say. I don’t think that you are serving the same anti-corruption campaign that you are doing. I don’t think you are serving the people of Ghana any good,” Blakk Rasta advised the Honourable Minister while cataloging a number of investigative works of the journalists which has been hailed by the international community.

Meanwhile, he also praised Kennedy Agyapong for his good works in the country but was quick to add that this time around Mr Agyapong is alone in his quest to expose Anas because he( Blakk Rasta) will not join the campaign.

“I also congratulate Honorable Kennedy Agyapong for his effort to make the country better but this time around, no sir you are in it alone. I am not joining you. Anas Aremeyaw Anas may you continue to rise and do things.”
