The ‘Yaa Asantewaa’ by all standards, singer Ebony Reigns, born Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng met her untimely death in February through a car crash on the Kumasi – Sunyani road where she was traveling amid two other friends.
Her sudden demise has generated a lot of controversies with some prophets claiming to have foreseen her death.
To honour her, a concert dubbed “Ebony’s tribute concert” will see a superfluity of performs grace the event.

A convert from Rufftown Records/Midas Touch Inc in partnership with the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Ghana Music Rights Organisation ( GHAMRO), and the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture will come off at the Trade Fair Centre in Accra on March 23.
The event with tribute performances to fallen colleague Ebony Reigns will see top musicians Yaa Pono, Ras Kuuku, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Samini, VVIP, R2Bees, Ras Kuuku, and Nana Boroo treat the fans of the late Ebony with top-notch performances. Other names expected to grace the occasion include Kofi Kinaata, Feli Nuna, Brella, Danny Beatz, and a host of others.
Until her demise, Ebony was known for several 2017 hits and her first album titled “Bonyfied”. She was also tipped to win the Artiste of The Year at forthcoming Vodafone Ghana Music Awards night slated for April.

Her final funeral rights have been slated for Saturday March 24 at the forecourt of the State House.
