Asamoah Gyan’s secret child in Italy, new ‘wife’ and more ‘DNA tests’ revealed

Mrs Gifty Gyan, wife of Ghana Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan, has been the topic on most media platforms in the last 72hrs. With issues surrounding her marriage to the footballer which have been centered around a divorce and a DNA test to ascertain the paternity of her kids, NetbuzzAfrica.com have a rundown of all the latest issues you might have missed today.

Reports have it that Asamoah Gyan’s wife, Gifty, was married to another man before marrying the footballer. It has emerged that the said marriage was a ‘marriage of convenience’ with the knowledge of Baby Jet.

NetbuzzAfrcia.com earlier reported the claims of a Kumasi radio presenter, Christian Adusei, that the wife of Asamoah Gyan, Gifty, was married to another man in Italy. The report continued to state that Gyan found out recently that while married to Gifty, she was still married to that her Italian husband but new information gathered by NetbuzzAfrica.com suggests otherwise.

The supposed marriage between Gifty Gyan and the Italian man was a ‘marriage of convenience’. The marriage took place when Gifty was only 16 years old but with the knowledge of Gyan so the statement by the radio presenter that claims that the Ghanaian international footballer, Gyan,  reportedly sent a delegation to Italy to beg the said husband of Gifty, and also ask for forgiveness from him is not entirely true.

According to the report, Gifty needed a UK visa in 2002 for a medical treatment, and so it became necessary for her to contract that marriage for that purpose. Gyan, at that time, was said to be ‘broke’ and with Liberty Professional, and so could not afford taking Gifty, then his girlfriend, to the UK without any assistance, therefore, he agreed on the ‘marriage of convenience’ to take place.

Earlier reports by NetbuzzAfrica.com suggested that Asamoah Gyan had requested for DNA tests but it has also been established that Asamoah Gyan did not ask for the DNA tests at all, but rather his older brother, Baffour Gyan, did and Gifty, is willing to let her children undergo the DNA tests to prove that the children are truly Asamoah Gyan’s.

Baffour Gyan had his younger brother’s signature scanned into requesting a DNA test on all three of his (Asamoah’s) kids.

Meanwhile, Mrs Gyan has reiterated the fact that she was not a cheat as some people have alleged in several reportages and have cited as a reason for their divorce.

Gifty Gyan, however,  was unhappy about the situation due to the effect it could have on her children because they had been dragged into the issue.

According to the report, he also ordered Gifty and her kids to stay at a two bedroom semi-furnished apartment inside east legon anytime she spent time with the kids in Ghana.

Baffour Gyan has moved his family into another matrimonial home of his brother located at Number 15 Eleandoe street inside East Legon, the report says.

He has also ceased the cars in Gifty’s possession, making her resort to engaging the services of Uber rides and Taxi’s since she arrived in Ghana over her divorce.

These actions by Baffour is a clear indication that Gifty and her children are ‘threats’ to him (Baffour) considering the level of treatment he mets out to them.

Gifty and Asamoah Gyan had lived happily together until reports broke out that the respected striker had filed for divorce at a high court in Accra.

Gifty Gyan met Asamoah Gyan in 2002 and married him in 2013 after they had dated for 11 years. She got pregnant in 2005 and gave birth to the player’s firstborn, Frederick Asamoah Gyan.

While many news portals are painting Gyan’s wife as a bad person, a social media user, Asha, who is close to the Gyan family has made some revelations to save Mrs Gyan.

Asha has revealed the bad things Gyan and his brother, Baffuor have been doing to Gifty before this divorce. According to her [Asha], Gyan had a baby with another woman in Italy while he was with Gifty, Ghanacelebrities.com reports.

She also revealed that, Gyan never wanted to marry Gifty but he was pressured by his late mother to do so. Asha added that, Gyan’s marriage to Gifty was made a secret because of his Italian girl. She also disclosed that, Gyan is also planning for a DNA test for the child he had with the lady in Italy.
