Budding talent of Ghanaian decent Derrick Sarfo Kantanka known professionally as Amerado is hopeful that his latest song “Menpe” will give him the mileage he deserves after all these years of being tagged the beast rapper.
The song is a collaboration between Amerado and fast rising producer Tubhani Muzik.
“The rate at which the song is catching fire is unbelievable,” Amerado reveals in an interview. He adds that he has never felt his love from the public. This is refreshing for his career.
“I have never felt like this for any of my songs, the calls, constant radio plays and the way the ladies are jamming to it alone tells me this is the song.”
Menpe has had several remarks from top-notch music critics including a relief endorsement from Ghana Writers Association.
