Africa Communications Week 2019 slated for 22nd May in Accra

WaxPrint Media, one of Ghana’s leading boutique digital marketing and media firms, is set to host the Accra edition of Africa Communications Week (ACW) on the 22nd May, 2019 at 9:30 am at the Kukun Workspace.  ACW is a global campaign held in over 30 countries across Africa and Europe between the 20th-24th May to empower and equip communications professionals with tools and resources to change the current narratives about Africa. Themed “Can Africa Lead Disruptive Innovation in Communication”, the week-long event will challenge Africa focused communications professionals to explore the link between innovation and communication and their unique opportunity to disrupt the communications sector.

“Since 2017, WaxPrint Media has partnered with Africa Communications Week to lead thought-provoking conversations surrounding the role of communications on the socio-economic development in Ghana and Africa. As digital marketers, we believe that Africa can’t lead disruption in communication without the necessary innovation tools to enhance how we communicate, connect and tell our stories,” shares Muhammida El Muhajir, the Director of Strategy at WaxPrint Media whose clients include, Alliance Motors Ghana, Pernod Ricard GhanaNumero Uno Retail Shop, and Fuse ODG.

The Accra ACW event will be an interactive session highlighting new technology tools and platforms designed to assist with media outreach, tracking, distribution, and content management that can impact and improve how communications managers, independent PR practitioners, and entrepreneurs communicate to the world.

“Through platforms such as our Marketing Decoded series and especially during Africa Communications Week, we actively seek to educate and bring entrepreneurs and marketing/communications professionals together for practical hands-on training and knowledge-sharing on the fundamentals and innovations that will ultimately transform the business landscape in Ghana,” adds El Muhajir leads WaxPrint’s digital strategy on services such as social media marketing, digital advertising, lead generation, and data analytics.

Africa Communications Week is the premier gathering for communications professionals and thought leaders looking to impact the current narrative on Africa. With a series of conferences, workshops and webinars around the world, it aims at encouraging Africa focused communications professionals to connect, engage and impact Africa’s economic transformation through strategic communication.   As space is limited for the Accra event, entrepreneurs, startups and marketing and communications professionals are invited to apply to attend: www.waxprint.media/events
